This is a Hybrid Role with 3 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
The Software/Developer, Senior, with 10+ years’ experience will program OSOR application
enhancements, including but not limited to, development of a new OSOR-NSOR data exchange
interface. The National Sex Offender Registry is being replaced by a new application and a new
interface is required to ensure continued exchange of data (~50,000 transactions per year)
between the provincial and national systems. Prior to the creation of the current data
exchange, in 2011, the OPP had to maintain 11 civilian data entry positions.
Participate in the application design, development, unit / system testing and deployment of
the OSOR using Microsoft development platform and tools
Participate in project design and application JAD sessions / walkthroughs;
Development of required Software Architecture Documentation for the project;
Produce Use Cases, Class diagrams, component diagrams, state diagram etc.;
Create code modules, as well as other necessary system scripts and .Net modules
Develop documentation for testing, implementation, defect tracking as per OPS standards;
Participate in, document and configure output from application design sessions
Participate in the Unit / System / Integration Testing
Qualifications
Experience with Windows 7,8, 2008 and 2012 environments Experience with Apache/IIS and Reverse Proxy.
Demonstrated experience developing with JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and XML/XLST.
