Responsibilities
· Ensure all documentation follows standards, is version controlled and loaded onto central project sites.
· Follow-up on team member commitments and proactively identify risks.
· Assist Program Manager with project budget, tracking against actual costs and resolving discrepancies.
· Provide assistance to program manager and team, in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core program components.
· Proactively identifies potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed.
· Investigate and follow-up on invoices, which includes proper coding, review of costs, matching to purchase requisitions, contracts, PO's, etc., review monthly financial reports to submitted invoices.
· Assist in the preparation of status reports.
· Identify problems / issues and escalates as appropriate.
· Update and maintain the team and/or project site.
Qualifications
Experience with basic Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).
· Experience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintain project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.
· Experience working alongside project and program managers providing updates, escalating where required, identifying risks, and leading project document deliverables.
· Experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects.
· Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.
· Experience scheduling meetings.
· Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository.
· Experience working in health sector and/or government.
· Experience with finance, accounting principles and practices.
