Responsibilities
The IAR Project Manager/Lead will be required to deliver Stakeholder Engagement and Communication as follows:
· Increase the usage of IAR by HSP while ensuring operational priorities align with the government’s objectives for evidence-based patient care planning and management;
· Provide expertise, strategic advice, and support Ontario Health to ensure effective approaches and plans are in place to support project success;
· Develop, update and maintain the project schedule, budget, governance structure, and risk documents to support the overall maintenance and delivery of IAR functionality enhancements;
· Provide leadership and oversight to IAR operational resources tasked with supporting IAR functionality enhancements, including providing overall guidance, support, training, and knowledge transfer as needed;
· Provide recommendations/technical solutions to address business objectives to current and future initiatives;
· Provide expertise and advice regarding business issues potentially impacting the IAR operational plan, day to day operations and other strategic initiatives. Develop and implement recommendations to resolve issues in support of operational delivery, timelines, scope, and budget;
· Support implemented HSP in an operational environment and monitor the day-to-day operational activities to ensure the continued use of IAR through assessment standards, service level objectives, and industry best practices.
· Support the use of industry best practices regarding release management, change management, incident management, problem management, privacy and security breach management for the IAR operational environment; and
· Work with other areas within Ontario Health, Health Information network Providers (HINP) and the IAR governance structure to review and discuss issues, seek approval on new requests and to provide reports related to the operational activities, and other key deliverables.
Qualifications
Business Knowledge
· Extensive knowledge and experience of the Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) and its application specifically in the Community Mental Health & Addictions and other community care sectors
· Demonstrated experience with implementation methodologies and processes related to the community health care sector
· Demonstrated experience in applying technical solutions to address business objectives in the integration and management of data
· Understanding of and or experience with the maintenance of information standards involving multiple stakeholders
Stakeholder Relationship Management
· Superior consultation, negotiation, and consensus building skills to work collaboratively and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders and business partners
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, exceptional judgement, political acuity and demonstrated ability to manage expectations and resolve major obstacles and conflicts.
Project Management
· Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful business outcomes
· Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and standards (e.g. PMP designation, PMBOK) and tools (e.g. MS Project) to be able to successful deliver projects within approved plan, scope, and budget
