Responsibilities
The IAR Specialized IT Consultant will be required to deliver strategic planning as follows:
Manage the maintenance and execution of an operational plan to maintain Common Assessment standards and IAR submissions and viewing across HSPs in the community sector while ensuring priorities align with the government objectives for evidence-based client care planning and management;
· Provide senior level expertise and advice regarding clinical and integration issues to ensure that the standards, tools, and processes supporting the Common Assessment and IAR remain relevant to the sector and that they align to strategic initiatives. Develop and implement recommendations to resolve issues in support of ongoing operational activities, timelines, scope, and budget;
· Provide business leadership on cross-functional activities including de-identification process, IAR authentication models, and IAR reporting content and functionality, and ensuring sector needs are represented adequately when implementing necessary technology, privacy, and security functionality;
· Lead the development and execution stakeholder, HSPs and third-party vendors to ensure adequate input is provided to the IAR strategic plan;
· Work with partners to understand priority strategies and areas of focus and provide senior level expertise and advice regarding the development and execution of the CA and IAR roadmap that will meet sector needs;
· Managed the implemented HSPs in an operational environment and ensured the continued use of the IAR through assessment standards, service level objectives, and industry best practise. Lead and review the development of documentation to ensure adequate support for implemented HSPs in an operational environment;
· Lead the delivery and preparation of executive briefings and demonstrations of CA and IAR solutions and services to increase awareness and understanding of current opportunities to leverage CA and IAR for optimizing client care and highlight potential future opportunities that would allow CA and IAR to progress the strategic planning for the sector;
· Provide strategic input and recommendations to current and future initiatives, support transitional and operational activities, and perform other project management duties as required;
· Work with project managers to support the use of industry best practices, processes and policies that are required to maintain and support common assessment standards and IAR services and solutions (i.e., privacy and security requirements, change management, incident, and problem management);
· Provide project management, health sector expertise, on CA and IAR services and solutions;
· Provide project management and strategic advice and support to ensure effective governance, risk management, mitigation strategies and recommended approaches and plans are in place to support operational success; and
· Work with appropriate governance structures to review and discuss issues, seek approval on new requests and to provide reports related to status, operational activities, and other key deliverables.
Qualifications
Business Knowledge
· Extensive knowledge and experience of the Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) and its application specifically in the Community Mental Health & Addictions and other community care sectors
· Demonstrated experience with implementation methodologies and processes related to the community health care sector
· Demonstrated experience in applying technical solutions to address business objectives in the integration and management of data
· Understanding of and or experience with the maintenance of information standards involving multiple stakeholders
Stakeholder Relationship Management
· Superior consultation, negotiation, and consensus building skills to work collaboratively and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders and business partners
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, exceptional judgement, political acuity and demonstrated ability to manage expectations and resolve major obstacles and conflicts.
Project / Program Management
· Proven experience in managing large and complex program and projects with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful business outcomes
