• Creating detailed business analysis documents
• Outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
• Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills; excellent facilitation and presentation skills
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
Qualifications
Acquired 8+ years’ experience in business analysis
Knowledge of BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) certification and/or demonstrated knowledge with the key BABOK concepts, tasks, techniques and skills.
Demonstrated experience in creating Business Cases, Business Requirements Document, other Business requirements artefacts and testing documentation
Documentation skills for business requirements and validate with business clients
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
Oral and written communication skills, Interpersonal and consultative skills, facilitation skills
Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks Writing skills, Negotiating skills
Working experience in defining and validating test cases to ensure the requirements are met
Nice to have:
Demonstrated experienced in unit testing, system testing and acceptance testing
Agile
Demonstrated experience with technical solution design and prototyping tools to facilitate JAD and design sessions
