Responsibilities
Product Lifecycle Analysis:
Analyze the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life.
Provide recommendations to optimize each stage for improved efficiency and time-to-market.
Roadmap Development:
Create clear and actionable product roadmaps that align with the strategic goals and customer needs.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and potential gaps in the product offering.
Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:
Effectively gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and market feedback.
Customer Journey Mapping:
Collaborate with team to map out the customer journey, identify pain points, and propose solutions to enhance the overall user experience.
Product Launch Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive product launch strategy, internal OPS marketing campaigns, and customer communication strategies.
Stakeholder Communication and Alignment:
Facilitate effective communication between the product team, executives, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on product strategy and goals.
Product Training and Knowledge Transfer:
Conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure they understand the product vision, features, and positioning.
Post-Launch Evaluation:
Monitor product performance post-launch and conduct post-mortem evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for continuous improvement.
Interim Product Management Support:
The consultant will provide interim product management support to ensure a smooth execution during the engagement period.
Qualifications
1. Expertise and experience with Enterprise Product Management
Parameters:
The resource's depth of experience rolling out complex Enterprise level products related to technology implementations and transformations, workspace modernization, and user migrations.
Demonstrated experience of Product Management methodologies, experience in creating roadmaps, integrated plan development, tracking issues/risks, managing and reporting product financials and developing Governance Models.
Developing materials for and conducting executive briefings.
2. Service Implementation, migration and transformation experience
Parameters:
Proven knowledge of Product Management practices and modernization, with particular focus in the area of telecommunications infrastructure rationalization, design, and migration.
Demonstrated experience with leading I&IT product/service migrations, including working knowledge of migration methodologies, vendor management, and interdependencies.
Ability to plan and execute enterprise/large scale voice, data, and video services migrations.
3. Level of communications skills of the individual
Parameters:
Demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders and vendor partners (internal and external) and using communication skills to negotiate and document any product information, and obtain support from key stakeholders and clients on related deliverables.
Political acuity, tact, and advising program leads and executives on risk and program problem management.
4. Public Sector Experience
Parameters:
Demonstrated experience in engaging with the public sector, specifically related to Product Management.
Experience interacting and navigating with clients including Executives and senior management.
