Experience and Responsibilities:
•Deliver Enterprise Commons (EC) Plant Maintenance (PM) related corporate training provided by the client's Corporate EC Team
•Analyze training needs (skills assessment)
•Consult with internal and external contacts for the most effective delivery strategy
•Provide recommendations for type of training delivery based on training objectives established by each Branch and the Corporate EC
Team
•Identify training delivery methods for front-line and office staff
•Deliver courses in an environment conducive to adult learning
•Identify appropriate additional subject matter expert(s) required to support the delivery of training (when applicable)
•Work with subject matter experts to assess and enhance EC Instructor Led and Web-based training to best support City Operations
end users
•In addition to the standard Corporate EC material, create training materials including e-learning, classroom presentations, system
demonstrations, quick reference guides, just-in-time videos, webinars, training manuals, etc. that are tailored to each
Unit/Section/Branch and specific to each process
•Partner with subject matter experts to ensure Instructor-Led Training includes the right level of business processes
•Provide input for the development of priorities in the PM Training Plan
•Identify training plans and course contents for special processes, not covered within the EC provided training material
Skills and Qualifications:
•University graduation from a recognized program in education, such as a Bachelor of Education, Adult Learning or Development or
related field.
•SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance module technical proficiency
•A minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of adult education and/or developing a course curriculum
•Experience/knowledge of enterprise applications is desirable, specifically SAP S/4HANA
•Experience/knowledge in one or more business processes/functions SCM - desired
•Extensive knowledge of instructional design strategies
•Experience using educational authoring tools/technology to create learning content/materials (i.e. Adobe Captivate)
•Experience using Google Suite
•Ability to convey technical training to both a technical and non-technical audience
•Knowledge of the City's technology would be beneficial
•Ability to facilitate training sessions with a variety of clients
•Ability to analyze complex technical information
•Proven planning and organization skills to manage program delivery
•Demonstrated skills in facilitation of groups with competing interests and priorities
•Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact well with a diverse group of executives, colleagues,
staff and citizens
•Strong written communication and presentation skills, including report writing
•Ability and willingness to delegate and empower others
