Our client, a leader in the education industry is looking for a PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Administration Consultant for an initial 14 month contract assignment.Reporting to the Functional Project Lead, the consultant will work with the project team, consisting of HRIM Business Analyst(s), Technical Lead and Project Manager to implement the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Benefits Administration Module and prepare for eBenefits for deployment in a subsequent phase of the project.Advantages- ALL WORK can be done 100% REMOTELY from any location in Canada- Long term contract with potential for renewalResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:a) Responsible for supporting configuration, functional designs, and system integrated testingb) Adhere to best test practices, standards, and processesc) Comply and meet aggressive timelines with minimal ramp-up time.d) Coordinate and communicate with team members and business users as assigned.e) Responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting on work progress.Additional Responsibilities:1) Review setup process created to associate Employee Primary record number with associated Benefit Record number and assigned Benefit program2) Validate available functionality to current release (PUM 35) and identify Base Benefits/Benefits Administration enhancements to current PS PUM for potential Selective adaptation (dependent on PSTools Release)3) Review and understand the Benefit Programs and available plans, coverages, and option4) Determine the best method and recommendations on the configuration of Benefits Administration, including potential Pay Group/Benefit Program changes5) Assist in a review of the overall methodology of the project plans sections6) Identify and document standard and potential system/procedural changes to facilitate Benefits Administration (eg. Life Events/Activity Guides) and assist in determining the best timing to implement7) Provide guidance and assist in the creation of a Test Plan and Test Scenarios, including those identified for PTF8) Identify standard processing and assist with any customizations required for York9) Identify and document eBenefits functionality (Fluid) in current release (PUM 35) and enhancements to current PS PUM for potential selective adaptation (dependent on PSTools Release)10) Knowledge Transfer to HRIM and Pension & Benefits personnel (as needed) QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years of hands-on experience as PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Administration Consultant- Must have experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleSoft Benefits Administration- - Experience with implementing eBenefits- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 version of PeopleSoft HCM). - Canadian client specific and Higher Education experiences a plus.- In depth knowledge of Core HR and Base Benefits configuration, including a deep understanding of setup tables, integration points and reporting- Experience with an organization that uses multiple concurrent jobs and multiple Benefit Programs (matrix to determine primary benefit program)Summary- 5+ years of hands-on experience as PeopleSoft Functional Benefits Administration Consultant- Must have experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and PeopleSoft Benefits Administration- - Experience with implementing eBenefits- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 version of PeopleSoft HCM). - In depth knowledge of Core HR and Base Benefits configuration, including a deep understanding of setup tables, integration points and reportingRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
