Our client is a leading manufacturer of electrical and mechanical motion control and power generation products serving markets
throughout the world. We are seeking a Sales Director to oversea and drive sales growth for our client.


• Lead a team of 10 direct reports and 13 Manufacturing Representative Agencies to meet Company sales goals. It is the responsibility of the Sales Leader to design, staff, coach, train, measure and reward this hybrid sales team to meet sales and margin goals.
• Develop sales team acumen, including contract negotiation, and implement the overall sales strategy for relevant product lines.
• Direct development of sales plans, objectives, strategies, compensation programs to meet goals.
• Develop new accounts and strategic sales plans for major accounts.
• Work closely with Sales Managers to solidify partnerships with new and existing customers to identify needs, compile opportunities and collaborate with internal functions to evaluate new product ideas and/or continuous product improvement opportunities.
• Use data analytics to drive sales strategies and philosophies.
• Monitor industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Extensive travel (more than 50%) required, primarily to the United States with approximately annual trips to Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• 8+ years’ experience in sales leadership role, preferably in OEM/manufacturing environment
• Switchgear experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within 3 years
