Responsibilities
- Building and leading a team of Sales Professionals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across Canada
- Mentoring and developing Account Managers and Sales staff
- Holding sales individuals accountable and identifying development opportunities
- Support the department in overcoming challenges
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to contribute to the company's goals
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a successful sales team is mandatory
- University degree or College Diploma (preferred)
- Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Motivated, persistent, and a great leader
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
- Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods will be an asset (ideally in Produce)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel within Canada as well as the U.S.
