We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, dedicated individual to join the employer’s team as a Sales Support Administrator. This full time permanent opportunity located in Paris and will have the responsibilities of supporting the sales team by preparing quotes, data entry, coordinating shipments and receiving customer orders via phone, e-mail, mail or in person.

This position is ideal for an individual looking to transition from the shop floor or someone looking to further their career into sales, and has excellent growth potential!Having a background in manufacturing in metal fabrication shop – ie. laser/plasma cutting, as a brake press operator or as a welder/fitter would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
- Receive customer orders via phone, mail, or email
- Prepare quotes for customers using Excel
- Works with programmer to determine nesting for quoting purposes
- Receive verbal orders and enter on customer order form or sales book
- Review sales orders for completeness, delivery date, price, and quantity
- Checks for availability prior to accepting order
- Receive customer complaints and inform the General Manager or the Senior Sales Coordinator for corrective and preventative actions
- Work with personnel on shop floor to maintain production quality and delivery schedule
Qualifications
- Computer use, Outlook, Excel/Word and Computer Keyboarding
- Follow all applicable quality policy and procedures as per Quality Manuals
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Able to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Comfortable and confident with math
- Self-starter, team builder and decision maker
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
- Able to complete assignments on time
- Flexible and able to successfully multitask in a busy office environment
- Customer service or sales (required)
- Microsoft Excel (required)
- Manufacturing background (desired)
- Estimating/Quoting (preferred)
- Blueprint reading (preferred)
