Responsibilities
Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements, including configuration, custom development, integration, and data migration.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, system architects, and other developers to gather and analyze requirements, define solution designs, and create technical specifications.
Implement and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other related technologies. Design and develop scalable and reusable Salesforce components, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms, utilizing APIs and web services.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications to ensure quality and reliability.
Collaborate with QA teams to support testing efforts and resolve defects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting in their professional growth and skill development.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them for business benefits.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices and security guidelines.
Document technical designs, solutions, and implementation details.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to estimate efforts, provide status updates, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development (Sales, Service, CPQ & Billing) including customization, configuration, and integration.
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform features, data model, security model, and governor limits.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, including declarative customization and programmatic development.
Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies (SOAP, REST, Bulk API, etc.).
Familiarity with source control systems, continuous integration, and deployment tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams is a plus.
