We have a potential start date as early as Friday, July 30th!We are hiring for the following shifts:Day: 6:45am - 3:00pmAfternoon: 2:45pm - 11pmNight: 10:45pm - 7:00amStarting wage is $19.10/hr with a $0.95 shift premium for nights.AdvantagesWork for a reputable organizationAccessible by busMedical and dental benefits available (through Sunlife Insurance)Weekly pay (every Thursday)PLUS you may be able to EARN $100 PER REFERRAL if you REFER A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER who is also looking for work!!!ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness, sanitation and upkeep of production equipment and production areas in accordance with the master sanitation schedule, Company regulatory agency, quality and food safety standardsResponsible for scrubbing processing tank vats, cleaning floors using water hose, clean chemicals and automated floor scrubberPerforms maintenance cleaning on machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors by cleaning dust, oil and oil using brushes, air hoses, or steam cleanerAll buildings (administration, production, distribution) must be maintained according to sanitation operating procedures (SOP) through the actions of washing walls, ceilings, floors, removing trash and disinfects all refrigerator units and cleaning the trash roomMaintain supplies such as paper products for bathrooms and towel dispensers in all buildingsOversee the storage of all cleaning supplies and disinfecting equipment and supplies as instructedCleaning records of equipment are accurately recorded in all areas in accordance with SSOP’s, while also ensuring that chemicals are properly labeled and storedMaintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufactureEnsure all assigned work areas are clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediatelyEnsure food safety issues are identifiedSupport monitoring programsWork collectively on areas to ensure consistency and meet deadlinesQualificationsompletion of a high school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience within a manufacturing environmentPreferred 2 years’ experience in a Sanitation department of a Manufacturing FacilityAble to stand for long periods of timeComfortability with starting pumps to force cleaning solution through production machinery, piping, or vats, or to lubricate machinesMust possess knowledge of the chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions and applies knowledge in their proper useMust be able to follows rules and regulations that ensure food safety, quality, and legalityCapability to understand and follow written and verbal instructionAble to produce quality results in the cleanliness of all areas of a plantCapable of adhering to all GMP guidelines in the performance of jobAble to ensure supplies are always stockedCapable of ensuring the completion of the jobSummaryIf you are looking to stop working seasonal contracts and find a place to grow your career, reach out now!
