Our Trenton client is looking for a sanitation operator for their evening shift of 5pm to 3:30am, Monday to Thursday. Hourly is $17.50 hour plus .75c premium totaling $18.25 hourly. Paid weekly with 4% vacation pay.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed in a safe and efficient manner of the assigned areas through the utilization and implementation of standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities
-Use of chemicals and equipment requiring strict adherence to MSDS sheets
-Spraying down floors, machines, containers to sanitize/clean them for use
-Responsible for using safety equipment appropriate to work site
-Responsible for following GMPs, especially to avoid raw/dirty contact with finished product
-Run machinery in a safe manner, using proper lock-out procedures
-Communicate any concerns or deviations to supervisor in a timely manner
-Responsible for food safety and quality
-Responsible for reporting food safety problems to supervisor
-Work in a professional manner
-Authority to initiate action when needed
Qualifications
Demonstrated working knowledge in WHMIS documentation
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal
contacts
Have the required HACCP knowledge for assigned stations
Demonstrated working knowledge of power pallet jack and scissor lift
-Effective communication in English (reading, writing and verbally)
-Time management skills
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Able to adapt and work in a continuously changing environment
-Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner
-Ability to focus on the task at hand
-Ability to work overtime and on weekends as required
