Our clients is looking for an SAP Architect

Position Purpose:

The SAP S4 Architect will be responsible for providing a strong functional and a technical understanding of the S4 product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the full S4 platform and how it may be configured to meet customer’s business needs. Additionally, the candidate must show the ability to understand the SAP roadmap for S/4 HANA and build out road maps, policies, standards and frameworks in SAP area across the domains of Applications and to guide the project teams in driving their S/4 HANA adoption.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead design, development, and deployment of technical and application solutions to meet business requirements that are cost effective and sustainable in S4 world.
Ideal candidate should have a proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 HANA issues, and can collaborate with the business and developers and execute on agreed timelines.
Build out strategic roadmaps in the SAP arena using S4 and have a thorough understanding of application domains such as
Order to Cash
Procure to Pay
Data Management
A thorough understanding and hands on experience required in the following core ERP modules
An excellent understanding of basis technologies, integration protocols (PI etc) and ABAP is an added plus.
Translate business requirements using complex methods and models to determine appropriate system solutions
· Provide Senior design and implementation guidance to SAP project teams on diverse topics including SAP Integration points, functional and technology alternatives, methodologies, implementation tools etc.
· Review detailed designs created by software engineers to ensure architectural principles are adhered to, requirements are satisfied, and the solution is well tuned for a high volume environment
· Champion solutions and present to enterprise review boards for implementation approval
· Provide input into annual budget planning for technology migrations and project cost estimation
· Research, identify, test, certify, and select technology products required for solution delivery
· Establish and implement technology migration strategies for a specific application or architecture within an IT portfolio that includes but not limited to vendor-hosted solutions
· Develop, influence and motivate staff in architectural adherence to standards and best practices.

Experience/Knowledge Required:
Must meet minimum time in position and performance management requirements (minimum “V2”)·
Over 10 years of experience architecting, developing, deploying and operating large scale SAP solutions
· 4+ years of technical leadership experience. Exceptional communication, influencing and consensus building skills.
· 5+ years of SAP experience with multiple modules such as BI, SD, MM, FI, CRM, SCM, Netweaver etc.
· Strong understanding of SAP tools, protocols, interfaces – XI/PI, Solution Manager, ALE, Web Dynpro (Java/ABAP) and SAP Business Suites
Architect will need to have a broad understanding of the OTC process area and ensuring the implementation of standard and best practices enabled by SAP SD/MM in the S4HANA
Strong understanding of BPM (Business Process Management) life-cycle and ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) principles
Good understanding of underlying HANA technologies is preferred.
· 1+ Years of SAP Portals & Collaboration, Security / Identity management experience.
Should be able to articulate and demonstrate S4 functionalities including Fiori and other modern technologies. Excellent understanding of customer/BP master and migration to S4 essential.
At least 5+ years in S4 implementations and support. SAP SD Order Management with EDI Knowledge of newer OTC functionality offered in S4HANA Material determination and Substitution Product Allocations and AATP SAP SD complex Pricing (Deals, Deductions, Surcharges, Rebates and Allowances etc.,) Outbound and Replenishment deliveries Customer Billing and IC Billing integration with FI- Integration experience with B2B and B2C systems, with eCommerce integration experience
· Experience in integrating systems utilizing SOA, EAI and ETL technologies. A good understanding of Java is a plus.
· Demonstrated breadth of IT knowledge ranging from web middleware, web protocols, Java, eCommerce, networking, operating systems (Unix, Linux and Windows), storage, databases, scalability, performance, configuration and change management, and high availability.
· Extensive experience networking with peers inside and outside of the company to leverage industry experience and best practices
· Comprehensive understanding of systems, applications, and/or networks so that practical solutions can be provided that factor system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and overall cost to develop and maintain.
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Strong oral and written communications skills.

Preferred Background:
Bachelor of Science or Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
Proven success implementing SAP functionality in a team environment & ability to work self-sufficiently.
Certification in S/4 HANA, and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus.
Ability to follow SAP methodology including conducting gap analysis between business requirements and SAP solutions, analyzing and preparing data migration plans, developing & executing rigorous data and process testing plans
