    Our client, a leader in the health industry, is looking for an SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator to support their data science teams for an initial 24 month assignment with the potential to extend


    1.Services

    •The SAS and Analytics Platform Administrator provides operational enhancements, maintenance, installation and support of the different technologies used by our data scientist teams.

    Such technologies include SAS, R, Python, Spark, EMR (Hadoop) running on the Windows and Linux operating system and hosted on the AWS infrastructure.

    Advantages
    - Will work remotely until offices fully re-open due to COVID-19 restrictions and/or upon Manager’s sole discretion

    - great long term contract with option to extend

    Responsibilities
    Deliverables

    •Provide on-going support to their SAS users.

    •Work with other their SAS Administrators to resolve any issue on the SAS environment.

    •Work with the Analytics Techniques and Tools (ATT) team to execute a training program for R, Python and Spark.

    •Manage permissions on the different analytical environments (Windows, Linux and SAS Metadata).

    •Monitor logs, create SAS, R and Python programs and scripts for automation.

    •Work with their I SAE project and other projects as required

    •Participate in the implementations of different technologies to support Analytical Toolkit Modernization project (ATM).




    Qualifications
    - Experience Delivering SAS 9.4 products expertise, administrative and support in a Windows server environment.

    - Experience supporting Technology Systems including configuration, patch management and optimization

    - knowledge of R and Python in a Linux environment.

    - Experience with EMR or Hadoop

    - General Linux knowledge.

    - AWS knowledge and/or hand-on cloud experience.
