Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the accounting function of the organization
Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Prepare and file all required tax returns and reports
Assist with the management of the organization's cash flow and treasury functions
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Stay up-to-date with changes to accounting rules and regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and/or Sage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
