Responsibilities
• Managing and completing day to day accounting activities including project
invoicing and accounts receivable reports
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the procedures and
ensure all financial processes are compliant with regulatory and legislative
requirements
• Supports external audit
• Manages multiple jurisdiction registrations, submissions and sales tax reporting
and payment
• Responsible for recording transactions, reconciling accounts and assisting the
Corporate Controller with the month end close procedures
Qualifications
• A university degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in accounting/finance
• Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of
related experience and education
• Construction industry related experience, project based accounting experience.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Effective verbal, written and listening skills
