    Responsibilities
    Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include;

    • Month-end closing process and ensuring the month-end entries are processed accurately
    • Account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
    • Ensure all revenue and costs are accurately recorded
    • Analyze results and communicate key drivers of variances
    • Analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
    • Process improvement initiatives
    • Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of effective controls, policies, and procedures
    • Tracking data trends for creating forecasts and models and perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
    • Government remittances (HST, GST)
    • Financial modelling for new business opportunities
    • Ad-hoc tasks as required

    Qualifications
    • Postsecondary degree in a business and/or accounting program
    • CPA designation is an asset
    • 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Working knowledge/experience with an ERP
    • Strong ability to plan, prioritize and take action against multiple duties and responsibilities
    simultaneously
    • Team player with strong people skills and proven ability to build relationships at various levels of the organization
    • Ability to take initiative in recognizing and resolving accounting problems, discrepancies, or issues
