Salary range of $85-$90K annually
Responsibilities
• Gather and organize financial data from various departments to analyze and summarize financial results
• Support financial processes such as Bank entries for multiple accounts, reconciliations of inter-company transactions, P&L and balance sheet reviews, weekly cheques and wires review and approvals, monthly QST & HST filing, daily credit card transactions schedule update etc.
• Complete and review monthly expense allocations between inter-companies, create inter-co invoices, and ensure inter-co settlements are done
• Assist in audits, preparation of audit work papers and year end audit packages
• Financial analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts and prepare analytical reports identifying the KPIs for management reporting
• Support month-end and year end close process with accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or comparable work experience
• Expert knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage 300
• Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlook up, formulas)
• Experience working with Trucking/Logistics company preferred
• Knowledge of lease accounting is an asset, Inter-company accounting experience must
