Responsibilities
• Full cycle accounting including but not limited to AP , AR and payroll activities
• Managing and completing day to day accounting activities
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the procedures and ensure all financial processes are compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements
• Support external audit
• Perform month end / quarter end / year end close activities
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, balance sheet and income statements and resolving variances
Qualifications
• A university degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years experience in accounting/finance
• Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Effective verbal, written and listening skills
• Should be a self-starter and be able to work with little/no supervision
• Should have worked with a large ERP and possess advanced MS Excel skills (Macros, Pivot tables, VBA, complex formulaes)
