Randstad is now looking for a Senior Accountant for a dynamic technologies company in Victoria. If you want to work for a company that has an international presence and it is making an impact, then this is the position for you.

Senior Accountant and Human Resources Manager
Opportunity: Full time
Location: Victoria BC, close to Downtown, transit-accessible
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm (hours may be flexible)
Salary: $80 000 plus
Start: As soon as possible

The Accountant will be responsible for the following

Job Duties and Description

• Full cycle accounting duties including AP/AR, cash flow analysis, monthly P/L and income statements, time management, and invoicing
• Financial Modeling
• Managing the Company Benefit Plan
• Assisting with managing the HR Functions (including the hiring process)
• Contract Review and Administration
• Manage software licenses
• SRED submissions
• Managing external accounting firms and creating working papers
• Managing rental properties of the owner
• Accounting for owner holding companies
• Tax filings for owner


•5-10 years' experience in corporate accounting preferred
•MBA or CPA certification a plus
•Experience with Oracle ERP system preferred but not required
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel
•Highly skilled in other Microsoft applications such as Word and Powerpoint
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Possess the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
•Maintain confidentiality in order to protect the company’s value
•Able to meet deadlines consistently
•Demonstrate a willingness to be a team player as well as having the ability to work independently at times
