SENIOR ACCOUNTING CONSULTANT - ORACLE IMPLEMENTATION

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of all accounting functions, especially inventory accounting, and should have prior experience working on an ERP implementation project. You will be a part of the Finance team and work along with the ERP implementation specialists to execute the ERP Transformation.

Responsibilities

-Translating the accounting requirements to IT to set up the ERP system (mainly for inventory module)
-Understand and highlight the possible impacts on accounting
-Identify the main risks involved
-Identify the internal controls that are to be implemented to mitigate the risk
-Highlight the focus areas to be tested
-Recommend testing
-Document the process changes


Qualifications
• Accounting designation is a nice to have
• Post secondary education
• 7+ years of related experience
• Oracle experience is an asset or any ERP
• Must be hands-on and strategic
• Collaborative
• Organized, good time managed and deadline-driven
• Tech-savvy, advanced system user, and a strong troubleshooter
