Responsibilities
Will manage a complex payroll and be responsible, approximately 1200 employees
-New hires/terminations, Roes
-Administer pension and benefits
-Entering, balancing, batching timesheets,
-Reporting/balancing of EHT, RRSP's
-Manage more than 10 unionized agreements
-ad hoc reports and analysis
-Month-end, Year-end
-Payroll reconciliations
-Resolve variances
-Execute on various department objectives to optimize functions
-Work with third parties to transform internal processes
-Liaise with colleagues and senior leaders on a variety of projects
Qualifications
-Must be fluent in French and English
-A go-getter with high energy
-An out of the box thinker
-Experience with a large payroll system
-Intermediate Excel
-Payroll designation is an asset
-3+ years of experience
