Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Leading and facilitating in-depth workshops to elicit, review, document, and confirm business requirements, business rules, and user interface design.
- Applying re-engineering concepts and methodologies like Lean/Six Sigma to promote business improvements. Conducting current state/future state GAP analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Performing data analytics, including volume cycle times, productivity data, and trend identification, to inform process re-design. Developing business models, use case models, conceptual and logical data models, and process maps.
- Working in an Agile environment, breaking down complex business requirements into manageable deliverables, and creating user stories.
- Preparing comprehensive documentation, including Functional and Non-functional requirements, business cases, presentations, and risk/issue logs. Proficiently using tools like DevOps, MS Visio, and other modeling tools to track requirements and designs.
- Leading meetings and working closely with the operations team to capture actual processes and manage various stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are validated against system functionality (UAT).
- Developing strategies, preparing business cases and cost-benefit analyses, and conducting feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- Experience in Lean / Six Sigma Process methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Operations and workflows.
- Leads and facilitates workshops to elicit, review, document, and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules, and user interface design.
- Ability to work closely with operations team to capture actual process.
- Experience leading large projects with various stakeholders (Ideal BA as a lead).
- Experience leading meetings.
- Experience documenting business requirements and performing GAP analysis with current/future state.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g., DevOps, MS Visio, and other modeling tools) to document and track business requirements, project milestones, and progress.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets):
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
