    The Senior C++ Software Developer, who works within the company's dynamic development team, plays a resource person in the team in the development of a very innovative trading software and in the implementation of highly capacity and reliable exchange applications!

    Our client, with offices in Downtown and headquartered in the United States, is the IT PROVIDER of the Boston Options Exchange, recognized as one of the most innovations in the United States!

    Their role is to develop and operate the mission-critical systems of the exchange. Their low latency and highly available applications are developed in-house and are responsible for processing millions of transactions daily!

    Responsibilities
    Your main responsibilities:

    -Develop and implement low latency, highly capacity, and reliable exchange applications.
    -Maintain and update critical libraries and code as applications are developed and updated
    -Contribute to system design and deployment
    -Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, Quality Assurance, and other stake holders to deliver robust applications in accordance with our processes
    -Conduct and participate in code reviews, identify coding and performance issues, and assess code compliance with established standards.
    -Provide second level support as needed.
    -Create and maintain technical, operational, and procedural documentation


    Qualifications
    The main skills to have:

    -Minimum 5 years of software development experience in C++ (ideally in a fintech company)
    - University degree in computer science or relevant major

    Good assets to consider :

    -Knowledge of Python programming language (or willing to learn)
    -Software development experience on Linux and Windows operating systems
    -Knowledge of low-level communications – Ethernet, TCP, UDP, multicast
