Responsibilities
• Completing projects from start to finish, including proposal writing, budgeting, design, document preparation, submissions, and sign off
• Field reviews and construction support
• Client relationship development and management
Qualifications
• Must be a registrant in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC with P.Eng. status or be eligible for registration immediately
• Design experience for civil infrastructure projects such as land development, water and wastewater systems, storm water and drainage infrastructure, sanitation systems, and road design on Vancouver Island
• The ability to lead projects efficiently to meet deadlines and contract requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to problem solve, make decisions, and complete projects with minimal supervision
highly desired skills and experience:
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D software
• Five or more years of experience working as a professional engineer, with priority being given to those with experience in land development
• Experience working with all levels of government, construction contractors, and developers
• Proven business development skills
