Responsibilities
*Provide direction, make recommendations and guides appropriate treatment protocol through liaison with the medical community (e.g. doctors, rehab specialists, etc.) for
catastrophically injured claimants.
*Provide guidance, technical advice and detailed analysis on the claim files to ensure alignment to Allstate Best Practices and ensure appropriate claim performance metrics are
achieved.
*Actively look for ways to improve customer service, efficiencies and cost containment through Continuous Improvement mythologies
*Collaboration with the Casualty Claim Consultants & Managers to achieve departmental objectives
Qualifications
*University degree/College diploma or related work experience
*Minimum 7-10 years as a Senior Accident Benefits adjuster, handling serious injury and complex claim files on behalf of insurers.
*Proven ability to interpret complex insurance wordings/case law, determine policy coverages and establish reserves
*Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels in the organization
*Collaborative mentoring & coaching skills with the ability to embrace change
*Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle conflict resolution opportunities including complex issues.
