If you have the below experience, get in touch
8+ years of experience Residential real estate, REIT
Thorough knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial reporting (knowledge of U.S. GAAP would be an asset)
2+ years of managing teams
SOX experience
Microsoft Dynamics 365

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team
- Balance sheet and income statement review
- Oversee the internal monthly reporting process
- Manage the preparation and review of all monthly, quarterly and annual reports and associated consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A and
supporting schedules
- Oversee preparation of financial statements for private investors
- Provide guidance on accounting matters and industry standards
- Direct annual audit process and resolve complex accounting matters with the auditors
- Lead process improvements and automation of workbooks to enhance accuracy of financial reporting
- Oversee all financial regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
CPA, Big4 audit experience, exposure to real estate, property development and REIT
