Responsibilities
- Provide customs technical support
- Maintain client database
- Reducing non-compliance to reduce transactional errors
- Resolving related issues
- Auditing
- Reviewing all customs documents
- Ensuring accuracy of information
- Contact clients for missing documents / information necessary for customs clearances
- Set up and release of assigned account shipments
- Dealing with CBSA
- Arranging for payments
- Overseeing all customs activity of customs clerks, training customs clerks, providing support and leadership
- Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations
- Other related tasks
Qualifications
- 5-10 years minimum experience in customs
- Complete knowledge of customs regulations and processes
- Bilingualism is a must
- Diploma in Supply Chain or related customs program
- CIFFA Certificate
- Experience using Cargowise is preferred and an asset
