    Randstad Victoria is looking for an individual that has proven sales success in the retail or home furnishings industry coupled with a strong sense of style, home décor, and a passion for design. We are seeking an individual who can combine creative capabilities with sales talent to provide window fashion decorating solutions to clients.

    The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial attitude and approach to selling with strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills. Demonstrated passion for in-home design consulting including the ability to communicate with clients to assess what they want and need, and then present ideas and design solutions in a compelling way. A broad knowledge of current home décor and style along with effective sales techniques is required. A detailed knowledge of window fashions, including hard and soft treatments, is preferred.

    Advantages
    *$45 000-60 000, depending on experience
    *Vacation Package
    *Monday to Friday 8-5pm
    *Benefits after 3 months


    Responsibilities
    * Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication to create a positive working relationship with your Installers to ensure complete client satisfaction
    * Responsible for interpreting all order contracts and accurately completing all documentation required to place a client order
    * Provide exceptional design services within a client's defined budget
    * Measure window coverings
    * Generate proposals and pricing for potential projects
    * Follow and generate leads, make sales calls and keep in contact with existing customers.
    * Visit client sites



    Qualifications
    Interior Design

    * Artistic and creative abilities in the area of home decor
    * Measuring skills relating to window coverings
    * Working knowledge of custom furnishings including window treatments
    * Knowledge of design principles
    * Ability to visualize a finished project and convey the outcome to the client
    * Ability to provide exceptional design services within a client's defined budget

    Sales

    * Self-motivated and goal oriented with a drive for success
    * Possesses strong sales skills including understanding and managing the sales process, from prospecting to closing and post-sale follow-up
    * Possesses a strong desire to excel in a competitive environment and enjoy being challenged to succeed
    * Demonstrates a passion for in-home sales and understanding of the concepts of selling for premium products within a fast-paced yet professional environment
    * Ability to represent our retail Business Partner expectations, and their exclusive product offerings. Business Partners include: Leaders in new home construction, real estate, home improvement and high-end retailing

    * Valid driver's license
