    As a Senior Financial Analyst for a IFRS17 project you will have a big impact on the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness working closely with a team of accounting professionals.     Responsibilities
    - Assist with annual preparation financial statements
    - Assist with documentation and implementation of new processes as required
    - Gaining an understanding of the new IFRS-17 calculation engine and ensuring end-to-end functionality and performance
    - Assist with Month end closing
    - Documenting processes and controls in relation to both the new accounting standard and new systems
    - Provide support for financial reporting projects and ad hoc requests
    - Develop or recommend actions to raise standards and improve operational effectiveness and consistency through process, technology and/or people capability development
    - Supporting Finance BAU activities, as needed

    Qualifications
    - Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) or MBA combined with deep understanding of IFRS and financial services, accounting
    - An understanding of regulatory environment for insurance
    - Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office; Advance knowledge in MS Excel
    - Contribute to projects to drive improvements of operational effectiveness and consistency
    - Strong communication skills: read people and dynamics thoughtfully and accurately
    - Ability to develop and maintain of strong working relationships with key stakeholders
    - Ability to work effectively with a team of financial professionals to deliver high quality output
    - Ability to multi-task in a face pace environment against challenging timelines and workload pressures
