Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, your duties and responsibilities will encompass the following;
- Full-cycle accounting activities such as preparation or review of monthly journal entries and supporting schedules, reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Reconciliation of clearing accounts and resolving variances
- Annual Financial statement note disclosure
- Preparation of monthly reporting on defaults, delinquencies, and early terminations
- Preparation of monthly funder reports ensuring completeness and accuracy of the report as well as preparing analytics
- Identify and address the root cause of issues encountered during the performance of tasks/analytical reviews
- Assist with the implementation of automation and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Support annual audit
- Other projects, duties, and tasks as assigned, as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years in the financial services industry
- Ful-cycle accounting experience
- CPA designation
- ERP experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
