Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Work within a team to upgrade existing J2EE applications to work with the latest versions of Java and
corresponding frameworks and libraries.
• Provide solutions to identified security vulnerabilities
• Implement code that complies with latest standards of OWASP
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Assist QA to resolve issues that arise during QA Testing.
• Provide knowledge transfer to our development and QA teams
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Must-have:
• 10+ years of development experience with Java EE.
• 10+ years of development experience with SQL.
• 6+ years of experience developing in Eclipse
• 6+ years of experience with XML.
• 6+ years of experience working with Oracle databases and WebLogic.
• 6 +years of experience with creating cross browser friendly and cross platform friend web application
using JSP, JavaScript and CSS.
Summary
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX
• Experience with Struts 1
• Experience in secure development conforming to OWASP standards
• Experience converting legacy applications to J2EE
• Experience integrating with other systems using REST API or other 3rd party webservices.
• Experience in performance optimization techniques for custom built applications.
• Demonstrated superior analytical, problem solving and judgement skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and able to manage simultaneous priorities, pressures, and
deadlines.
• Ability to learn and quickly comprehend technical and business concepts.
