Responsibilities
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain complex Java applications.
-Lead the technical design and implementation of projects, including developing technical specifications, providing estimates, and creating high-quality code.
-Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices, code quality, and technical issues.
-Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and testing protocols.
-Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, functionality, and maintainability.
-Continuously improve application performance and scalability.
-Communicate technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
-5+ years of experience in Java development.
-Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
-Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
-Experience with database design and SQL.
-Experience with agile development methodologies.
-Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
-Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
-Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
-Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
-Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
