Potential for contract extension and conversion to fulltime
Responsibilities
Perform Java development on the user stories for specific business functions/features within the Regulatory Services application and work with BSA and test engineers to understand the acceptance criteria for the delivery of the business functionality.
Work and liaise closely with other developers, BSA, and test engineers with the RegTech team and other technology solutions teams.
Work collaboratively with other RTO team members to ensure the timely delivery of Agile artifacts with an emphasis on continuous planning, testing, and integration.
Qualifications
Java Development (Spring framework) – 5+ years
Database SQL experience– 5+ years required and STRONG MUST HAVE
Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) – Solace, IBM MQ – 3+ years
JSON formatting – 3+ years
XML formatting – 5+ years
Work and liaise closely with other developers, BSA, and test engineers with the RegTech team and other technology solutions teams to understand and deliver on technical requirements (user stories) – 5+ years
Excellent Communication Skills
Oracle Database 5+ years
Nice to Haves:
Regulatory Services project experience
Working with any of the following: G20 Trade Reporting, FATCA/CRS Tax Reporting and Documentation and Due Diligence, and Volcker.
Banking/Financial Industry Experience
Agile environment
Capital Markets Processes and Products
