Responsibilities
-Mentor & guide AP team to meet monthly deadlines
-Provide performance feedback & coaching to team members
-Foster teamwork & communication within & across organizational boundaries
-Design & improve audit programs
-Review audit results & develop compliance & training programs
-Support audit results with compliance training & audit reviews with business leaders
-Set audit requirements for corporate credit card transactions
-Lead Vendor Management team
-Ensure accuracy & completeness of records
-Maintain & improve internal control procedures
-Ensure appropriate data entry in ERP system
-Improve & maintain support model for US & Canadian AP inquiries & escalations
-Resolve AP inquiries with internal stakeholders & departments
-Communicate day-to-day KPI's & provide insight to senior management
-Oversee maintenance of posted vendor accounts
-Lead vendor statement reconciliations team
-Other support with Accounts Payable vendor account clean-up
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, business, procurement or accounting.
- 5 years experience in Accounts Payable / Vnedor Management
- Proficiency with Great Plains or larger ERP's
