Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical support for our business partners, ensuring that any issues raised are properly triaged and resolved.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions between the various teams to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and understand all technical requirements of the project.
- Ensure that projects stay on time, within budget, and are delivered to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and make recommendations to management as necessary.
- Identify and mitigate project risks from a technical and security perspective.
- Provide technical management and leadership to internal IT teams as well as vendor developer partners.
- Coordinate with the vendor developer partners to ensure they have what they need to meet the project timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure that security best practices are followed throughout the project.
- Act as the primary contact for security-related issues and ensure compliance with the bank’s security policies.
- Provide support for security reviews, code scans, and penetration testing for the applications built for business partners.
- Educate stakeholders (e.g. developers, security consultants, business partners) on application security matters and impacts on the organization
- Work with internal and external partners to resolve security issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical liaison or project management role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a financial institution is an asset.
- Experience with IT security best practices is an asset.
- An understanding of IT project management methodologies.
- Experience in providing technical management and leadership to internal IT teams as well as vendor developer partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exposure to application security best practices such as secure coding, security testing techniques
- Experience in application development experience in modern programming languages (e.g. Java, .NET, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, SQL scripting, Python, Groovy)
- Possess strong understanding of web and mobile application architecture and development principles
Nice to Haves:
- CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, GWAPT, GSSP certifications an asset
- Knowledge of OWASP, SANS or other security-related practices
