Senior Mechanical Engineering Design

Are you and Engineering Designer with strong analytical, problem solving skills, and thrives in a large team environment?

If you are proficient in an NX CAD environment, GD&T and knowledgeable in structural analysis techniques, this may be the role for you!

In this position you will;

• Mechanical/structural design engineering to meet customer requirements and specifications
• Develop and maintain data, prepare and present formal Design Reviews following established procedures
• Investigate, respond, and implement corrective action to Production or supplier
• Support prototype builds, create test plans, execute tests and create test reports to validate designs, mitigate risks and/or troubleshoot problems
• Plan and organize to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget
• Manipulation of CAD models

The qualified candidate will possess;

• University degree/College diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in design and manufacturing
• Previous experience in mechanical designs and principles of Engineering trade-offs
• Applied knowledge of welding technologies, materials properties and selection
• Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.
