Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot network systems and provide documentation and reporting.
• Participate in disaster recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in compliance with regulations.
• Support application development teams.
• Recommend and perform software/hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, and purchases.
• Plan and execute changes and installations for LAN and WAN equipment.
• Administer MS Windows, including OS installation/upgrades and file system maintenance.
• Install, configure, and support PC platform and peripherals.
• Define project scope with senior management and IT team.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Review platform services to ensure alignment with AWS well-architected framework.
• Design, build, and deploy physical and virtual server and workstation environments.
• Identify and analyze cloud infrastructure architecture gaps and propose new technologies.
• Lead experience as an AWS Solutions Architect.
• Experience designing AWS solutions with cloud native, 3rd party, and on-premise technologies.
• Experience building and configuring various AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC).
• Proficient in logging and monitoring tools such as ElasticSearch, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Proficient in service mesh and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
• Possesses extensive experience in Windows server (2012, 2019 and 2022) platforms and workstations (Windows 10&11).
• Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting network issues related to Local Area Network technologies such as switches, hubs, routers, VPN, wireless, etc.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, including Windows domain group policies and administration.
• Experienced in VMware and Veeam Backup and Replication.
• Familiarity with Office 365, Checkpoint firewalls, Powershell, basic scripting, IIS, Radius, and ADFS.
• Demonstrates problem determination, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently, prioritize customer issues, and adapt to changing priorities while remaining detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Works effectively in a team environment but also independently and completes work within specified deadlines, including collaborating with the application development team.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of Active Directory, deployment, and management. Skilled in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows Server components such as IIS, DHCP, DNS, WINS, NTFS, NT Domains, and Terminal Server.
