The specialist is responsible for the technical design of telecommunications solutions (LAN, Wi-Fi, telephony and unified communications). He will be responsible for analyzing the needs of our customers, proposing solutions and designing them.
Main responsibilities

-Collects information relating to the Telecommunications needs expressed by the customer. Analyzes and proposes solutions based on the client's service catalog. Develops complete solutions and assesses the costs and efforts for implementation.
-Designs the engineering of solutions in Telecommunication for projects of simple to complex size. Produces the technical documents for carrying out the activities relating to the chosen solution. Ensures proper integration of new solutions into the environment operated for the client.
-Works directly with customers, Technical Leads and Customer Service Operators to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions within project timelines and expectations.
-Documents customer solutions for the Operations group.
- Participates in the development and introduction of new solutions in the customer environment. Produces test plans and ensures that technical tests are carried out. Document anomalies following new implementations and manage their correction.
-Produces and writes technical reports for the client or management on request.
-Exercises a role of technical expert and adviser to the operational groups concerning his field of expertise.
-Contributes to perfecting the solution design and delivery processes.
-Offer support/coaching to other team resources on processes, standards and working methods.
Specialized knowledge/studies
-Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering, with specialization in telecommunications, computer science or equivalent experience.
-Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in the field of information technology, in Telecommunications.
-Very good knowledge of Cisco products (certifications would be an asset).
-Very good knowledge of Aruba wifi products would be an asset.
-General knowledge of unified communication (Avaya/Cisco/Teams) would be an asset.
-Strong experience in data transmission network projects.
-A very good knowledge and experience in LAN / WAN solution, Routing.
- Good experience in designing customer solutions.
-Ability to act as a solution integrator with multiple technologies.
-Strong interest in deepening their knowledge and expertise.
-Proactivity and ability to have an end-to-end vision of mandates and solutions.
- Ability to lead a project and coordinate the activities of other technical resources.
-High autonomy and excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
-Experience in network management would be an asset.
-Knowledge of Automation would be a strong asset.
