This is a 1 year contract payroll project with a marketing organization. We require a bright and sharp payroll guru to join and assist with various objectives.


Duration: 1 year
Location: Yonge and Sheppar
Compensation: $35+/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for all staff using Ceridian Dayforce system.
Review all documentation for payroll related requests to ensure completeness, accuracy and ensure that appropriate authorizations are in place.
Review all paperwork pertaining to new employees, promotions, retroactive calculations and terminations to ensure completeness and enter into system
Ensure all payroll processing is in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
Research and resolve problems, work with management and staff to provide payroll related information.
Act as primary point of contact for external payroll service providers.
Create and maintain employee files.
Benefit deductions

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll administration.
Advanced Excel
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) combined with the ability to successfully interact with all levels within the organization
Superior attention to detail
A demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work independently within tight deadlines
Prior experience using ADP payroll products, is a necessity, Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
