    Our Client is looking for an Assistant Controller/Payroll Master to ensure the proper management of the accounting functions of our company. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this person will be responsible for performing various tasks of the accounting cycle related to all entities of the company.

    Responsibilities
    Payroll:
    - Complete payroll processing for our various subsidiaries (Quebec, Ontario and American payroll)
    - Follow up on various employee files such as group insurance, CSST reports and others
    - Proceed with tax declarations as well as various instalment payments
    - Execute year-end and fiscal year-end reports and records of employment (T4, Relevé 1, Record of Employment)

    Accounting component:
    - Administer the various management and banking fees
    - Participate in the month-end accounting process
    - Follow up on our inventories
    - Perform all other related tasks necessary for the smooth running of the company
    - Bank reconciliation


    Qualifications
    - Excellent command of French and English
    - A DEC in accounting, certificate in accounting or other related field
    - Experience in payroll, benefits and year-end reporting administration
    - Experience with SAP Business One (an asset)
