Responsibilities
Project Management
In partnership with the Technology Project Manager:
• Develop project artifacts including project charter, project plan, project schedule, among others
• Develop and manage project team communications, appropriate for the audience and using appropriate
channel(s) (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Confluence, meetings) and formats (e.g. IM, email, PPT)
• Ensure project deliverables are developed to professional standard and hosted on the appropriate
channels (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira)
• Report on project status, risks, and milestones to various stakeholder groups
• Remove blockers to project team, escalating risks and issues using the appropriate escalation paths
where required
• Enroll and educate project team, stakeholders, and sponsors to ensure successful project delivery
• Manages project delivery to agreed upon project scope, schedule and budget
• Working with the Program Manager, help ensure all in-scope P&C Digital Product Road Maps are
leveraged to optimize delivery and the employee experience
• Manage resources across projects, where required
• Manage external vendors where required
Risk Management & Analysis
• Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage resources to successfully meet program goals and
deliverables
• Ensure all potential risks (Data Management, Systems Risk, resources, etc.) are identified and all
impacted stakeholders are engaged
Leadership
• Set clear expectations and hold people accountable
• Align project team, sponsors, and other stakeholders of varying skills and technical expertise
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of project management experience with preference working in Digital HR for high growth,
Fortune 1000 global companies in Retail
• 4-year degree in HR, Business, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Designations or certificates in project management (PMP), agile delivery methodologies (e.g. Scrum),
and/or HR/HRIS
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, technology-enabled, transformational change initiatives with employee experience outcomes
• Deep understanding and application of waterfall and agile practices
• Experience working with various digital human resources system architectures (preference for those with
specifically Workday, Avature, and Dayforce WFM)
• Experience with organizational change management initiatives (change strategy, stakeholder analysis,
change impact assessments, change planning, operating models etc...)
• Advanced ability to work collaboratively with and enroll multiple stakeholders within and outside of
People & Culture
• Ability to successfully manage teams with competing priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly
evolving organization
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to align stakeholders from project team-level to VPs
• Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to cater to all audiences
