Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager/Leader will be responsible for:
- Providing program management leadership and expertise for large-scale, highly complex, high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise-wide.
- Ensuring accountability for the program's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
- Facilitating current state assessments and gap analysis to inform project scope and planning.
- Working effectively across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders—to ensure alignment and drive consensus.
- Applying knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR and clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC), especially with experience or knowledge in implementing terminology services and solutions.
- Utilizing excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong partner engagement skills for facilitating, negotiating, and translating complex concepts.
- Demonstrating effective Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Qualifications
Must-Have Experience:
- 7+ years experience working across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
- 7+ years experience in facilitating current state assessments and gap analysis.
- 7+ years experience with excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong partner engagement skills.
- 7+ years experience working with/knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards such as FHIR, and clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC).
- 7+ years experience with Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
Desired Skills (Assets):
- Experience and/or knowledge implementing terminology services and solutions.
- Excellent strategic thinking, facilitation, and communication skills, including ability to translate complex concepts into plain-language visuals or briefings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products, with a preference for candidates that have experience with Microsoft based cloud tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365).
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province.
- Public Sector Experience (Nice to Have).
