Are you a senior accounting/finance professional looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a corporate environment? Do you have strong SQL skills and several years of experience in financial and data analysis? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to support our client, a leading Canadian Telecommunications company, in their Downtown Toronto office. In this role you will work full time hours on a 6 month assignment, and earn a rate competitive within the industry. As a Senior Reporting Analyst your main responsibility will be to support the processing of commission payments to sales and management teams, including but not limited to the following:

• Ensure all system set-ups (Callidus, SQL) are done correctly to process accurate and timely payment of commissions to Corporate Sales and Management Channel
• Ensure and validate all information and transactions are correct prior to calculation of commission.
• Implement proactive solutions and identify new processes to reduce compensation inquiries and escalations
• Liaise with I.T. teams on system fixes and trouble tickets processes
• Create/update process documentations on payment work flows
• Reporting and analytics of commission payments
• Implementation of special and ad hoc requests as required
• Investigate Commission Inquiries from channels

Qualifications
• 4+ years in a relevant position (Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or something similar)
• Bachelor Degree in a related field (Statistics, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science)
• Advance SQL query, MS Access and MS Excel skills
• Attention to detail and exacting quality standards required in particular as it relates to accuracy of data
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, process and organizational skills are a must
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives
• Highly effective communication skills (oral and written), coupled with strong presentation skills
• Ability to manage own work load and meet deadlines while responding to frequent demands of multiple customers
• A motivated, self-starter capable of owning and driving assignments to completion
• Extensive experience with data and process set up, management and analysis
• Ability to work on weekend and after-hours as required
