Senior Software Engineer DevOps (REMOTE)

Our large Edmonton based client is seeking a Senior level Web Application Developer - C# contractor full time for 12 months with 3 possible 12 month extensions each remotely to start until normal office life returns. Working directly with the Business Technology Project team and in collaboration with other client personnel, including project managers, developers, business analysts and subject matter experts the Services to be provided include but are not limited to the following:• Developing solutions on a Microsoft platform using C# programming language to build web applications using ASP.NET in conjunction with one or more programming or scripting frameworks, such as JavaScript, Agular, React, WEB APIs etc.;• Designing web applications with different design patterns; and• Design and develop relational database and bring structure and discipline in developing or programming using SQL server. QUALIFICATIONSMust Have:- 8 plus years demonstrated experience developing solutions on a Microsoft platform using C# programming language to build web applications usingASP.NET with MVC, .NET Core, in conjunction with one or more programming or scripting frameworks, for example JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap etc., WEB APIs using ASP.NET, .NET Core with MVC pattern- 5 plus years Demonstrated relevant project experience in designing web applications with different design patterns. - 5 plus years demonstrated experience in relational database to bring structure and discipline in developing or programming using SQL server. Nice to Have:- 2 plus years demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS)and relevant toolkits.- 3 plus years demonstrated strong leadership skills in functionally leadingproject teams. - 5 plus years demonstrated Demonstrated experience in Waterfall, Agile Software or System development life cycle approaches- 2 plus years demonstrated experience in report development utilizing SSRS,Spotfire or Power BI technologies. - 2 plus years demonstrated experience developing applications of medium tolarge scale enterprises.- Certification as a Web Developer (for example MCSA – WebApplications or equivalent.)- Post-secondary degree in computer science, engineering orinformation technology.
