Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of GCP cloud migration and consolidation strategies.
- Provide expert architectural guidance for GCP PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business needs.
- Ensure the development of robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure tailored to project goals.
- Manage and optimize disaster recovery, high availability, and multi-data center strategies across cloud environments.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
1. Ten (10) years' practical experience working in a Solution Architecture role.
2. Ten (10) years' demonstrated experience interpreting and verifying complex business requirements and relating them to business, information, application, and solution architectures.
3. Ten (10) years' demonstrated experience in system integration and enterprise integration patterns
4. Ten (10) years' experience creating architecture models using a variety of personal productivity and architecture tools.
5. Eight (8) years' architecture experience with complex programs and projects requiring excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment with diverse audience.
6. Ten (10) years’ experience presenting findings and recommendations to clients and developing plans to implement recommendations/solutions.
7. Ten (10) years’ experience generating a high-level of system requirements or design, based on the project’s needs.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Experience in data integration, developing data models, data standards, overall information architecture and application architecture.
2. Experience with reference models (e.g., Open Group, Architecture patterns, others)
3. Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and how Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture complement each other.
4. Extensive demonstrated knowledge of architecture domains, enterprise architecture practice, methodologies, and architectural deliverables
5. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; Ability to conceptualize solutions based on required business capabilities and high-level requirements.
6. Demonstrated ability to play a leadership role on a solution delivery team.
7. Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate solution architecture concepts using strong technical writing and architecture modeling skills.
8. Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and communication competencies with all levels of business and information technology staff.
9. Experience in the Agile framework and Scrum processes is a great asset.
