Attention all Public Accountants: Are you currently a CPA at a Big 8 firm in the GTA? Are you looking for work-life balance without sacrificing opportunities for growth? If so, this may be the opportunity for you!

My client is a premier full-service accounting firm in the West End. They are looking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant with a strong assurance background. If you’re interested, the role also offers the potential to grow into a manager in two years.

Responsibilities
• Prepare financial statements and working papers for NTRs, audit, review and compilation engagements
• Lead junior staff on review and audit engagements
• Build effective working relationships with clients, and respond effectively to client requests and suggestions relating to the engagement
• Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns and review various payroll and sales tax remittances

Qualifications
• CPA Designation
• Minimum 2 years of intermediate or senior experience at a big 8 public accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of ASPE
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Knowledge of CaseWare and Tax-prep or similar tax preparation software an asset
