Responsibilities
What Will You Be Doing?
As A Service Technician You Will:
- Fly in / fly out 7/7 shift, from Calgary or Edmonton to Fort McMurray
- Perform inspections, maintain and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various client locations as requested
- Perform on call and after hour services as per service office rotation guidelines
- Conduct on-site electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and use best practice equipment testing procedures and post repair audits
- Document findings and provide recommendations to clients using a written Safety Notification for any pertinent safety concerns
- Assist clients with improving material handling applications and determine items requiring quotation
- Maintain company equipment and property and perform additional duties as required by Service Manager
- Comply and meet all organization, industry specific, and health and safety requirements as appropriate
Qualifications
What Do You Need?
-Journeyman certification is required
-Minimum of 1 year experience working in mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting
-Having electronic and crane experience is a plus
-Must be able to lift at varying degrees from a minimum of 25 lbs. -100 lbs. (rare) depending on the situation.
-Must have good gross motor skills such as, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling
-Must be comfortable working in diverse working conditions: hot, cold, noise, and height
